Set Up A Youth Club

Are you a young person who wants to get involved in setting up a Youth Club in your area?

Are an individual who is inspired to volunteer as a Youth Leader?

Or would you just like to see a Youth Club in your local community?

If you answered yes to any of these questions then please feel free to contact our Regional Office.

So whats involved?

You will need:

1. 3+ adults to be volunteer youth leaders

2. A place in the community for the club to meet

3. Young people (10-18) who would like to join

We will then meet with you to:

  1. Identify need for a youth group in your area.

  2. Identify the type of youth club to be established.

  3. Identify other potential leaders.

  4. Approach leaders – arrange a meeting with them – outline what is involved in setting up a youth club.

  5. Arrange a public meeting.

  6. Help you set up a management committee.

  7. Deliver training.

  8. Help you conform to the necessary child protection requirements.

  9. Carry out the relevant recruitment and screening procedures.

  10. Facilitate a meeting for those interested in becoming members of a youth club.

  11. Help you organise the first club night.

  12. Help you set up a junior Committee.
